The packing board
Working through orders on pickup morning without losing your place.
Prep and Pack are two views of the same orders, in the order you actually need them.
- Prep is the bake sheet: every item across every order added up, so you know you need 14 loaves rather than reading 14 orders.
- Pack is one card per order, so you can bag them one customer at a time and tick them off.
Both survive a closed browser. Ticking is saved as you go, so you can put the tablet down, take it out of the kitchen, and come back to it.
An order item whose product you deleted still appears on the prep list. It was ordered, so it still has to be baked and still has to be tickable.
