Changing or cancelling your plan

Upgrading, downgrading, what the trial does, and what happens to your data if you stop paying.

Everything here lives in Settings → Plan.

The trial

Micro has a 14-day trial, and it collects a card up front. You are not charged during the trial, and the plan does not start without a card on file — so "no credit card required" is not true here and we would rather say so than surprise you.

Switching plans

Moving between paid plans reuses the card you already have and prorates the difference, so you are not charged twice for the same days. Changes take effect from the next billing period.

Cancelling

Cancel any time. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, then drops to free Nano — it does not cut off mid-month.

Your data is never deleted when you cancel or pause. Your products, orders, customers and site all stay; the paid features simply switch off.

If a payment fails

You get an email the first time a charge fails, not one per retry. Your account keeps working while the card is being retried — taking a bakery’s storefront down over a temporary decline is worse than the alternative. If it ultimately fails, the account reverts to Nano.
