Connecting a custom domain
Pointing your own domain at your Bakeable storefront, on any plan.
Every bakery gets a Bakeable address from the start. Connecting your own domain is available on every plan, including free Nano.
How it goes
- Add your domain on the Website → Domain screen.
- Bakeable shows you the DNS record to add. Add it at your registrar — the company you bought the domain from.
- Come back and verify. DNS changes can take a little while to travel; if it does not verify immediately, wait and try again rather than changing anything.
- Your certificate is issued automatically once verification passes, so the site is served over HTTPS with no further steps.
Verifying a domain triggers a rebuild, so your site is redeployed on the new address without you having to publish again.
